Cancellation & Refund Policy

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for choosing Takshshila Design and Architecture!
At Takshshila Design and Architecture (hereinafter “TAKSHSHILA DNA”/ “we”/ “our”/ “us”), we value the trust of our customers (“Customer(s)”/ “you”/ “your” / “Subscriber(s)”) and wish to inform you that you have Enrolled one of the Takshshila’s Coaching/services as shall be governed by the relevant Terms of Cancellation and Refund Policies of the relevant Courses or Discounts available on the relevant website “takshshila.in”.
This covers two set of exam categories – Type I pertains to Enrolment in the Drawing and Craft Classes & may be eligible for partial refunds subject to the terms & conditions listed below, while TYPE II pertains to Design and architecture exam categories which are not eligible for any refund.
Common Refund Terms for the Enrolment to Design and Architecture Entrance Exams Coaching Courses in India
  1. For any Course(s) Enrolled by you, you shall not be eligible for any refunds, whatsoever in the following events:
    1. If the request for cancellations/return is submitted after expiry of the LOOK-UP PERIOD as defined or falls into exam categories as defined in Type II which are not eligible for any refund.
    2. If your access/enrolment to the course(s) is cancelled on account of discovery of ineligibility to exam you are preparing or any breach of Corse’s Terms of Use. The decision of TAKSHSHILA’S shall be final and binding in this regard.
    3. If due to a force majeure event (such as acts of God, government restrictions or other events beyond our control), we have to discontinue the Course(s) in case University or Institution cancels the exam, that you have already availed; then we are under no obligation to refund the fee for such portion of the service already availed by you. We are also not liable to provide any additional service in lieu of the service so discontinued.
  2. Mode of Refund: All applicable refunds shall be processed through online transfer in Indian Rupees only, to the source account from where the payment was originally made; a) within a reasonable period of 28 days from the date a written confirmation from our end is provided to you approving the cancellation. In no event, will the applicable refund amount be greater than the amount paid for your purchase.
  3. If your payment instrument/account through which original payment was made, is not active or does not support refunds, you shall be required to provide other bank account details belonging to you for processing the relevant refund. We shall not be responsible and/ or accountable for crediting refund money to the wrong account due to incorrect details furnished by you. You shall be required to furnish a declaration for transfer of refund to another bank account in the format and manner as may be required by us
  4. In case you have not received the refund within the stipulated time frame of the policy, then please reach out to us at 9700707707 or write to us at info@takshshila.in. For any other queries (including support on course materials), please write to us.
  5. On account of cancellation of the service(s) procured by you under the Coaching of course(s), the services to be provided by us from the date of cancellation, up to exhaustion or expiry of such service(s), shall be considered as services not performed.
  6. We reserve the right to modify/ replace this Policy at any time, as deemed fit by us, without any prior notice to you.
  7. You confirm and acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms set out in this document and accept the same.
 
TYPE I (TAKSHSHILA Short Term Program)
  1. This Annexure contains the details of Refund policy clauses applicable to Coaching courses in the following table

  1. For aforementioned Courses or Products in TYPE I, the Order Confirmation Date is defined as below:
    1. Courses or Products which are based on Live classes/ classroom/recorded learning program, Order Confirmation Date shall be the date on which the Order will be Confirmed for Enrolment of the Coaching Courses
  2. For aforementioned Courses or Products in TYPE I, FREE LOOK-UP PERIOD shall be 14 days from the Order Confirmation Date.
  3. As mentioned previously, if you choose to cancel); a) within FREE LOOK-UP PERIOD where no class attended, you shall be eligible for a full refund. Post LOOK-UP PERIOD you shall not be eligible for any refunds whatsoever.

Note:
  1. Note 1: The Registration Fee to be considered as Rs. XXXX---------- course or as mentioned on the invoice
  2. Note 2: Course fee will be the total amount after deducting  book fee and registration fee from total product cost
  3. Note 3: The Course Fee may include a Caution Deposit which is a refundable, subject to the conditions as laid out in the invoice & is not eligible for refund claims during the look-up period. Please check your invoice for the refund criteria.

If you wish to cancel your Enrolment, you shall be required to submit your cancellation request by writing to 
admin@takshshila.in along with the Order details & Invoice copy.
